I was at a tackle shop in strand this weekend, had a look at the Fin nor HMG 13.6ft (might be 14ft) - 6 piece, three tips and an extra butt section, so you can put one of the tips in the extra butt and you have a 10ft rod to scratch around with???? Any thoughts on this rod? dont know of anyone...

My Cue to leave after a long day! Wasnt expecting to catch much here - Maybe a Gallie if i was lucky - just wanted to work this beach so that i know at least i tried! New species to my list - everyone around me always caught them but never me - not that i ever wanted to!
