Will be going down to Struisbaai later in this month - What can be caught along this stretch? will be staying at the big yellow star on the left, and will be fishing the stretch of beach on the right......dont really have transport to wonder in Agulhas so i will be limited to this stretch of beach.

Was down there 2 years ago and caught a baby cob on Moonshine - What would be the bait of preference for Eds(which eds) and can Sharks be targetted here as well??

You can PM me as well if you dont wanna reply on this thread

Much appreciated!

Hi there.

I stay in L'Agulhas, and YES you can fish for edibles and non-edibles.

Sharks:  Raggie    / Bronzies  / Rays / Spotties / Hounds

Baits :  Fishhead / Tjokka / livebait

Edibles : Witesteenbras / Belman / Galjoen / Cob / Shad

Baits :   Any Worm / Prawn / Witemussel / Livebait / Fishbait

I hope this helps. From were you staying, fish is good if you don't mind a bit of a walk.
Pm before you coming down. If I'm here we can make a plan to fish together.
Some Steenbras and Belman has come out this weekend on the plaat. Fishing can only get better.

Cheers
Chris
