At my local spot there seems to be a influx of baard at the moment but they seem to be quite elusive. what methods should be used in clear turbulent shallow water. I tried today with sand prawns and got nailed by 2 stumps and a medium size steenie. I also lost 3 fish which Im sure are baardman...
