Zig Fishing

I am new to zigs and being winter with these blue sky days it seems to be a good option.

Do you guys use regular gig leader or adjustable leaders with something like the Fox Halo Adjustable Zig Rig Float Kit?

Zig aligna or just general foam on hair?

Drop lead or not?

What hook brand you using?

Zig fishing is very fun.

I prefer to use adjustable zig rigs, makes life so much easier.

I make my zig rig length about 2ft long, and use a running lead set up. Bait wise you can use anything, does not really matter.

I tend to start one rod at 2ft off the bottom the other 2 ft from the top, and adjust the rig every 1-2 hours depending on the dam, once one rod starts producing often, I move both rods to that depth.

Key again is to find where the fish are, then find the depth.
