Hi All,

So where does everyone fish? Where is your go to place? Looking for new places to try out, day trips.

Howsit man! Where about are you based in Johannesburg? Emmarenia dam has some good fish. I ussually fish Jackson dam or the R50 dam in Alberton.

Oh, and offcourse the vaaldam if I get the opportunity!

I also usually go to the R50 dam in Alberton,
nice to go and fish there if you don't want to drive out to the big dams.

Vaaldam: we fish at Boschkop / Island Shores

Haven't been to the Vaal for a while now, wonder if Island shores is still open???

One of my best fishing spots was Jim Fouche at the Vaal...
Would be great if they get that place up and running again.... lots of memories there.....
