The nice thing about leathermans is that they come with a 26 year gaurantee. My tools get serviced every 3 months. Awesome tools live by the golden sales rule, customer is king, I just hope that the new owners live by the same motto as the new owners took over last tuesday.

Hi Brendon

If you get a chance to speak to Leatherman (Awesome) please remind them that the service is the main selling point.

In some ways the other products from Gerber and even Victorinox's Swiss Tool might be superior. The fact that you can put their product through hell and back and still get it sorted without so much as a flinch is the main selling point.

If that no questions asked policy goes then with it will go their market share.

Have you noticed that all multitools in SA are referred to as a "Leatherman".
