So Yesterday I decided to make one last throw for the. Gallie season. The water looked grewat, the wind was just right.. And on my second cast I got a taggable gallie. Right after that I lost another fish and started missing quite a few "half decent" takes. Eventually I hooked another baby gallie wich was put back. I was joined by Jazz and co and they experianced the same. Tap tap tap... Throwing every bait in the book. Personally I think the water was maybe to warm.?. Oh well, still, as always a nice day at the beach.. This time a hell of a suntan on my face.

Spoke to "Skurf", and he experianced the same thing, while fishing with circles.. And the circles didn't even work.so it looks as if they just weren't feeding.

I just did n "stock take" on the season, and some interesting figures came out on the gallie sizes.

What happened to the 0,2 of the fifth Gallie? Maybe bitten off by the seals in False Bay LOL.

Nice track record there for the season SM. The Gallie story came up over the weekend and I had to say that for me the Gallie king is definately Stinkmossel the "reefdancer" LOL. You record for the season backs this up.

Well done Mr Gallie King on all your catches, releases and taggings. Good going. Now how about some lessons for those who haven't caught any (ever) or this season? Mind you, we could ask that young girl who caught the real monster this weekend
