Been to Barra from the 18th - 3rd and had some excellent weather and good catches. Was able to go out 12 times and tried twice for marlin and sailfish without success. A lot of bait fish around and found the sailies feeding and just not interested in any bait. Twice had a marlin chasing bonnies 60m from the boat. Coutas up to 28kg's were caught on drift bait, YF tuna between 25-30kg were also plenty and was caught on Rapala X-raps and Halco's. Big bonnies of 10-12kg's were also caught and some nice GT's and other kingies on jigging and big Mann lures. Visiblitly was superb for diving with viz of 30m for the divers and clear skies. The coutas were quite deep and was found in 15 -25m water. Some nice wahoo's were also caught but the dorado's were scarce. The weather changed from the 3rd with wind and rain so I hope you have a great time at Xai-Xai.
