Would like to pick ur brains. Would like to start spearfishing. Busy sorting out all my equipment. Just have a few questions. Where can i get a decent custom made  2 piece wetsuit? What,s best  - 3.5 mm or 5.5 mm? Which type of speargun would best suit a beginner?

Is there anyone in the Umdloti, La Mercy beach area that i could chat to. Have a few more questions I would like answered. Any clubs in my area that you know about?

Any spearfishing courses offered in Durban. (Unfortunately Rob allen had his course a few weeks ago - missed it)

Any other advice that would help me would be highly appreciated.

I'm actually a Capetonian but work up in Durban. Need to make use of the conditions here thats the reason for me trying to start spearfishing. I'm quite eager to start but I need to make sure i'm properly prepared before taking to the water.

Hopefully once i've gained a bit of experience we can hook up for some spearfishing in the Cape.
