Hi,
having chopped up karibas in your ground feed will surely increase the protein content and aroma of the feed. But its just like any other additive that anglers put into their feed (like oats, weet bix, chic-chic, corn, etc). You will not only catch carp with the chopped worm approach, but more likely barbel and muddies. I dont use a floatie with a worm. Only a dought on the line above the worm. Nothing prevents you to try the floatie method.
I only use the snake worms when i target bigger barbel (bigger hook) during a comp. The hook is however small enough to pick up a wandering carp. So its not for those big chaps. I mainly use the karibas with the normal setup (light traces with 0.8 daiichi's).
