Two of my sons went to Vidal last weekend to spear off the Jetski targeting Wahoo. They dived Deep Oscar but only saw a group of Hammerheads. Sunday they pulled live Mozzies and after losing to fish to Dolphins Bruce landed a Wahoo guestiweight 20 to 25kgs (the scale stops at 20kgs). half an hour later Stuart went away and boated another Wahoo, guestiweight 30 to 35 kgs.

Well done on landing those beauties!I lost one around that size right next to the boat in Nov 2011,also at Vidal,500m in front of launch site.I hooked it on a purple and silver plastic squid like lure being trolled at about 15kph about 20m behind boat in turbulent water.....
