Wooden reel restored

This is a beautifull 11 inch with a narrow spool.Sapela mahogany reinforced with fibreglass with brass bracket.Circa 1950's Spins like a dream.I would love to use it but scared of popping it.

Had a few myself but some one else thought he might use them and stole them.

I am a South Coast boy.Those wooden reels are like hens teeth.
