Winter bass

Hey guys, being a novice at the sport of bass angling, does anybody have some tips on finding a pattern in winter?

i am struggling a bit as i don't have a fish and depth finder yet but will in a few weeks but really want to get on the water this weekend so any help will be great.

Senior Member
That's smallmouth country isn't it? My cousin fishes around that area, a Rapala firetiger DT, all seasons, never blanks out.
