Who's going fishing this holiday?

Next week I'll be at Boschkop (Vaaldam) and the week over Christmas I'll be at Stilbaai (Vaaldam). CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!

I am not going anywhere. I will be working over the holidays.
Next year January when everyone is at work and school I will shoot off to the Vaaldam for a week or so.

I don't think anyone prefers it that way.
I am doing IT support over the holidays, had no choice there.
With the resession, every bit helps.

Im planning a trip to the Vaal myself for next week around 16 Dec. Havent made up my mind yet about where, I'd like to try out Jim Fouche for old times' sake, just hope there's running water, else I might need to change my plans coz the govt is coming along.

Im in IT myself, luckily for me the leave schedule worked out nicely so everybody gets some festive season leave, Im off next week for the long weekend, at work 21 -24 Dec, off from 28th & back on the 4th....::S

you guys can mar go and fish lekker wile the boats dive you mad with die ski and tubes, I go in feb and march Langebaan and then bloemhof and then fly fishing in parys.  Yes please

O ja and I am in IT to, have to stay here on support. lekker money for vacation in feb hehe

Went to our club water at Slaughters on the 27 Dec 2009. I landed 12 fish and my son in law 11 fish. All between 300 - 1kg range. Terrible weather forced us back home the next day without being able to angle the night. Still enjoyed it! Bottom hook baited up with worm and sweet plain dough dipped in Strawberry Red and top hook baited with sweet plain dough dipped in Q23 from Jan VD Heever dips. Also used the special Jan VD Heever ground bait.
