CATCH AND RELEASE PRO SERIES 2010
COMPETITION RULES
ENTRY
The competition takes place at Blaauwpan Dam on Saturday 28 August 2010.
Entries at the venue will start from Saturday morning 28 August at 08:00 and weigh in at 16:00 Saturday 28 August 2010.
All entrants must report at the main gate of Blaauwpan Dam on Saturday morning before 08h00am on the weekend of the competition in order to collect his participant armband. Without this arm band no weigh in will be allowed.
If a participant arm band has been lost a new arm band can be obtained from the Competition Administration at a fee of R50.00. The entry will be verified before a new arm band can be issued.
Any person may enter this competition except those as indicated in rule 9.
The Competition will start Saturday morning as soon as the Vuvuzela is fired over the dam.
Each participant must be in possession of his/her Participant armband at all times during the competition. (See rule 3).
Right of admission is reserved.
Organizers and management of Carp pro series and sponsors, their agencies and promotional companies involved with the Competition, shall be ineligible to participate in the Catch Release pro series Competition. They will be ineligible for any prize awarded in the Competition.
GENERAL
Each participant may only use a maximum of 2 rods.
Line class is unrestricted.
Any bait may be used.
In the event of a dispute the Dispute Committee will handle it. (which exists of the events coordinator). The Committee’s ruling will be final and binding and no further correspondence will be entered into. A dispute must be handled in at the latest 2 hours after the prize giving has been completed.
The Committee can change rules at any time without any prior notice to participants.
By entering it is understood that you agree to all the Rules and Terms & conditions lay down and that it is your responsibility to check for any changes in the rules that may take place.
Carp Pro series and Blaauwpan Dam can not be held responsible for any loss of or damage to any property of one self. Participation is done at own risk.
Warning, getting to close to wild animals or reptiles or entering the water is done at own risk.
Any rules that are broken can result in immediate disqualification.
Committee and officials will inspect the dam on Friday afternoon 27/08/10 for markers, night lines and fish nets they will remove them if any before the competition starts.
Vehicles may be inspected by competition Committee to ensure that no fish is in anyone’s possession during Saturday (See rule 9)
SHORE ANGLER
Maximums of 100 shore anglers are permitted.
Participants who angle form the shore will draw their pegs from a hat at the main entrance, according to the markers that have been placed by the committee.
WEIGH INN
There are no limits to fish per angler that may be weighed in.
The weigh in camp will open at 12h00 and close at 17h00 on the Saturday of the Competition.
Only anglers with their fish are allowed at the weigh in Que.

that was a kak days fishing. I think there were only 2 fish landed!!

ya, the wind was pretty bad, couldnt get the lines out deep enough. I only had 1 drop bite the whole day!
