White mussels missing

To everyone who reads this
If anybody knows a place where one can still find white mussels can they please share that knowledge with me please. All the places where they once were seem to be barren. If you know of any, especially in the False Bay region can you please help!

noordhoek boet the beach before swoetwater, go at low tide  you will a big lonely rock in the middle of the beach just dig in a ten or so meter rad around it and 15cm down and BINGO wit mossel

theres a beach on the west coast in britanica bay full up on white mussell just go when low tide dig them out the sand in the water with your feet should have a good amount in no time.. i plan on going to collect some the weekend

Royboy has a house in Britannia Bay and he's full up with white mussel.

well i just moved to britania bay... sorry if i got the name wrong..kept thinking its britanica... but does any of u guys no what fish is at the bay because a few of the guys say i wont catch any thing from the beach although its filled up with white mussel... sought best fishing for gannet at the harbour:fishn

just make a weekend out of pulling out over 100 mussel for a good stash up on the stock.

Muizenberg beach still has plenty, amazingly enough given the amount ive seen some people take out, i find incoming almost high tide best.

Forgve this Newbie question but your standard license that you buy to collect mudprawn covers white mussel?

Just move to the cape from JHB dont wanna be arrested in the first week!

It is covered under the worm, prawn and molluscs section on your bait permit.
