I have been using Docks mono but have been having problems with the odd nest forming when i retrieve.

I read that Ultima has the least memory but i cant find any at the local tackle shops.

I saw some Trilene and it says low memory on the box...

before i buy it i thought to ask around 1st

Any advice will be appreciated.

Thanks in advance

I use XX 7 LBS as my mainline on my reels. I use the 20 LBS XX as a leader or the Awa Shima .4mm.

The same XX 20 LBS I use as a leader I use as the mainline on my traces. Hooklines I use Maxima Marine Green.

The XX that I use is the Brown Cameleon Mono. Been using it for years and I am very happy with it. Also it doesnt cost an arm and leg to replace.:raine

@corsanostra

Gebruik jy n aasboot of roei jy die lyne in ?

Dan is dit geneig om dit te doen?

Daar is n paar dinge wat mens kan doen om dit bietjie minder te maak.

Been using XX for a few years now.
Would like to try out the Awa-Shima lines.... heard some good stuff about it.

XX Platinum Plus.
Awa-Shima Supercast or True Cast and Specimen lines.

And from what I heard the Berkley lines are very good.

The Trilene is a Berkley Line.

at one tackle shop they had a large roll of the awa shima that was returned. the line was breaking very easily.
allowed me to test it and it snapped without much effort.
was probably from a bad batch.
