i been buying Tight lines for abt 6 years now and ESA since last year . also used to buy complete fly fisherman until my local CNA stopped stocking it.
I cant read afrikaans so i dont read half of the articles in tight lines , i just look at the pictures hehe.
Personally ESA is the best "ENGLISH " fishing mag a.t.m , thats just my opinion not a fact...

I'm buying the BASS AFRICA when I can get my sticky little green fingers on it, it's not always possible and I have subscribed to the SA BASS Magazine, so I do get that delivered in my post box monthly.
Other Mags that I've bought is The Complete Fly Fisher, Stywe lyne and the Bank Angler, however, being a converted PAPGOOIER myself, (and even then) I hardly ever bought the Stywe Lyne. It's just not my kind of Mag, it does read "lekker" if you know what I mean.
When I started with Fly fishing, well I bought the Complete Fly Fisher. The only real trouble with this mag is that it caters for Trout, Yellows and only occassionally for LGF's, hence I don't buy it frequently.
The Bank Angler is a fairly new Mag, and might have a lot of potential, it however as yet have to convince people like myself in terms of putting aside a section for LGF's
But, yes, the two mags always in my hands are the SA BASS and when I can get it BASS AFRICA.
