Where to go fish

I dont know about all of you, but every time I want to go and fish I always struggle to find good places on the internet and when you do, there is verry little information provided.

Can anyone please give me a couple of good places where you can camp and fish at any dam in the Gauteng/Free State are, I know there are good places out there that not alot of people know about.

Firstly, do you want to take the wife with? If yes, then look at UJ, Boschkop, Aqua Via, Koppies Dam.
If not, Ardenza(Joggie Nel), Steyns, Cilliers, Rooibult, Biermans. I am pretty sure ther are more... Just do a search and you will get lots of info on each of those places.

No no, no wife or girlfriends, just a couple of friends looking to get away a bit and have a nice trip, we just looking for a couple of nice places where you can camp right next to the water and catch throuh the weekend or so.

What is the best time to go and fish at Tago, I know that waters got alot of fish, but will you catch some fish in late August or late September?

"Taking the wife" meens that the place has ablutions with warm water(most of the time). Its not to say the fishing isn't great there, but the place might get a bit crowded.

Aqua Via is awesome...the waters there have always been good to me.
