where to fish

Hippo's are not really a problem in RDW they are few and very far between. Last 2 occasions I have fished RDW I have not even seen them........

A "bullduster" is someone who feeds others disinformation on any subject and tries to polish their own Balls in the process and can't produce the goods.

One of the things I like about you is that you openly admit not catching fish instead of spinning a yarn of bullshit.........

Does this best decribe a Bullduster very deliciously for you?

thanks for the description Ryan.

i havn't had to much luck the past few months with only fish under 1kg. Then again if i had to choose between catching 1 fish of 3kg or 20 fish between 1 - 2kg i would choose the second option.

Always nice to be kept active on the water.

I was at RDW on Sunday,

Awesome day, me and my fishing partner caught about 35 bass for the day under difficuilt conditions.

Bass ranging from 200g to 1.6kg were caught.

Morning session was ok, then it became quiet mid-day and then picked up really nicely in the afternoon just before the thunder storm.

Some pics below.

That would work a treat. Let me know when you got time. You won't catch anything over 2kilo's there, but you should at least catch something!!
i've got a busy couple weekends coming up, going down to durban this weekend for the rugby, and nelspruit the weekend after. will let you know the first weekend i have open.

I fished the Vaal for a hour on saturday from the bank between the jetties. Only had two knocks and hooked one small fooshie. Not small enough for my tank and not big enough to brag about. Then a storm came.....and it rained and rained until late that night. I'll be spending alot of time on the Vaal from the 7th of Dec until early Jan as I'll hopefully be staying next to the rivier for that time. Can not wait for Basslake to open next month aswell. Those monsters are going to be hungry.
