Where to fish in and around JHB?

Hi guys,

After some recent misfortune at some of the fishing places, I though I must ask you all what the best place is to do some fishing.

This past weekend we went to Rietvlei near Pretoria and before that Roos se Oord by Harties.  We had no luck in fishing at all!

Where are some nice places and they must also have proper facilities.  Don't mind camping out in the tent but the bathroom must have hot water and proper toilets!!! I am a girl after all...lol

So any suggestions?

Try Meerhof at Hartebeespoort.....safe, clean, and decent facilities....the fishing isn't bad either at times....

If you are fishing conventional...caramel floaties with a white dough backing...almond also works there and strawberry....

Just to ask i have also been looking for a destination to camp...basically all the same requirments just am looking for some entertainment eg.water slides.. any suggestions?
