where to cast

hi how does one know where to cast to ensure a successful catch for stompie or brusher  and kob

Kob,are normally caught in the dis-coloured "ginger beer" water where they depend to a large extent on their sense of smell to find the small fish and crustaceans on which they feed.

They are found on the bottom,close to reefs,or in the holes and channels that wash open on sandy beaches.

Brusher,they are normally targeted in the deeper,churned-up water where they are found close to reefs on a sandy bottom.

But they are also caught in shallow,foamy water close to the shore if there is a mussel/redbait colony.
