Where oh where are the fishes

Hi guys any idea why there are no fish coming out at Shelly beach . Been here 5 days and only a couple of crayfish to show so far . Went to the Margate pier but left very disgusted after what i saw there . Thousands of sardine heads and other stinking stuff and guys taking very small Shad made me leave in a hurry .Should charge a entry fee and use that money to police and clean the place .Spoke to a guy at the ski boat club and he recons even the game fish are very scares .The water seems to be clearing up now so lets hope for the best .^^..

if u want to take a drive towards sea park in front of sayidi farm stall gt a few shad this morning ,battled to get passed the undersized ones but eventually got my four shad.but also the same problem with litter and them keeping there undersizes catches.

I spoke to and old and very wise fisherman today and he said the sards might be near that the gamefish are scarce and the cold front we had last weekend.

I would like to comment on this..... I have fished on rocks now for around 20 years and it p&$$<$ me off when people don't clean up after themselves. And what irritates me even more is that nothing is done about it.

The rocks end up stinking and the seagulls get tangled in old gut etc, and the pollution it causes is devastating.

Some people have no respect for anything!!!!! Let me say no more, its better I keep quite now :)

Just thought I would share my feeling on this........ pigs in short

So simple to pick up your rubbish and throw it away

There is so much baitfish in the water, the gamefish do not need to come hunt your bait.

Try and fish off the rocks and let your live shad hang around in the waves, close up to the ledge, so the waves/swell pick your shad up and you can see it in the waves.

Plenty Kingfish coming out, you are fishing the wrong places.

The weather has been bad and the sea has been upside down, but there are def fish around.

Try Kelly's gully in Manaba.
