I spend a lot of my salt water fishing time throwing spoons and have noticed a lot of different methods of cleaning spoons. Some guys just scrape their spoons with a knife, others rub their spoons in the wet sand while others use steel wool. I clean all my spoons with steel wool and then bottle/glass them and I was wondering if I get to much shine on them. All my spoons are cast with WM90. Would like to know what you guys think.

Hey mate,

What you doing is probably the best way to get it super shinny , i don't think there is a wrong/right way as long as it is shinny .

Is it to shinny , are the fish eating the spoon ?
What is the bait fish in the area you are fishing look like - Match the hatch - if they are super shinny make it super shinny , if not , don't go over board with the clean up of the lure .

Cheers
