due to the fresh s/e wind,,didn`t go to macs, which looks good for tomorrow,,,,so fished at strand at high today.water colour is really `kobbie` brown and warm,,a few guys on the reefs, didnt see any catches tho`,,
i threw a b/worm at the paddling pool for an hour, not twitches even,,,went to bikini beach, also looked good, but a bit `sandy` water looking, also nothing in the way of a bite!! friday and satarday looks like a good swell coming in,,maybe sunday worth a look, again?

Tried at Baileys this evening - sunset. Water looked good after that south-easter but was deceived - klomp kak in the water - fine weed that packs onto the line - the worst. Also loads of plastic bags. Sea cleaning itself out. Had one gooi with sards and one with red bait. Not a tap. Besides the weeds..that is.

Thats because the way the okes slaughtered those undersize Belman last Winter. Disgraceful !!! At least now we can all see that when you kill all the young fish, there are no bigger fish to  return at a later stage !!

Can't be because of that... Earlier this year we had a good belman run over two weeks in the Strand. With hundreds of belman landed in the Strand at the time, I didn't see or hear of a single undersize one. I'm fairly certain we'll see some more belman in the next few months, we just need the right conditions. The small ones will probably be abundant in a late-season appearance.
