Just another of those so discribed unfortunate incedents.
This type of thing realy PEEES on my battery...i mean the portnet security don't want us to fish in the harbour and regular patrols and any other form of security personel are always on the LOOKOUT for us innocent"OWES" TRYING TO STEAL A MOMENT OF GLORY ( a fishy ) from the harbour.they are like flies on a piece of ...t
I know for a fact that PORTNET has a pollution control division.WHY the hell dont these people get there LAZY A..S INTO GEAR ....send skilled people out to the nearby factories to do regular inspections of factories etc. that pose a threat to the ports water.
Why dont the security personel concerntrate more on there own workers, whom i certainly believe many of them are involved in theft in the area,instead they hastle the fisherman to keep us away sothat we can't see whats going on.I'VE seen theft reported it... prommised all sorts of things.....still waiting. NOW i dont care a hell.
They CAN STEAL the entire port 4 all i care.....and i will continue to take my chances fishing in the port whenever i feel the urge to do so.

If..If the perpetrators do get caught they will probably have to pay a couple thousand rand fine, which is cheaper than getting their waste treated, as a result the same thing will happen again in the future.
the only way to tackle this problem is identify the culprits and organise a national boycott of their products including everyone using their products.
