whats happening at CAPE VIDAL???

Hey, gonna be at Vidal this weekend anyone know what the fishing is like up that way??? (shore and ski???) thanks,

Had someone come back after this weekend looking for Amber Jacks. The TAXMAN nailed them. Could not land anything at all. Tiger sharks were FULL UP and even a marlin put it's lights on for her!

Not sure about shore - but I am dead keen to find out. If the tigers were off-shore, perhaps the raggies could be closer.

And from what i hear the Tigers were SIZE!!!

Some spearo mates of mine went up for the weekend.
Raggies were full up on the 20 - 30m reefs. Reports were of all the guys fishing off the boats... not one couta was landed, all taxed! Maybe a good idea to hit the ledges and slide a big bait.

Lots of Dorado around, fish the point between 25-35 mtrs, drift baits seem more succesfull.

Lots and lots of sharks, but they are more on the deeper marks.
