Artlure = Artificial lure. In other words anything used to imitate bait, flies, spinners, soft plastics, hard baits like rapalas etc.

thanks eyefly, whats the difference betwwen artlure and bass fishing?

[eyefly]

Ziyaadb, here it gets contentious. Basically though bass fishing is a branch of artlure or according to some bass fishy types it's the other way round. The guys who do artlure however target far more than just one specie.
Artlure is more about the equipment and method than the target species. Throwing plugs etc into the surf is also artlure.

Bassfishing is species specific. it is one of the easier aspects of artlure as bass will eat just about any form of artificial.

Artlure - targets one of each species - no form of natural bait maybe used to catch fish.

Hope this helps
