What will you do???

If you are lucky enough and you manage to catch something like this, what will you do with it???  Release, contact the sharks board or your nearest aquarium???

If you release it, I doubt whether it will survive very long as it will be sticking out like a Neon McDonalds sign in the middle of the desert

B.T.W, it is an albino Leopard Shark

Not wanting to hi-jack this post but sorta along the same line... One fishing for anything that will bite and happen to hit a great shad of say 4kg. The fish has damaged its gills or is sure to not survive the release. It is out of season! Is it then to be used for bait or what? As for the shark, try my best to make sure it gets back to the big blue asap with as little stress as possible!

i would most certainly not use it for bait! Id first make sure no one is looking . . .

Thats certainly not an albino Leopard Shark (Stegastoma varium). looks more like an albino hound or something.. I cincerely hope that anyone catching anything like this would give me a shout as there is definitely a place for it here at Ushaka..

Has anyone here on Sealine actually seen an albino shark?

I dont think albino'z fish live very long as like u said they stand out and often have other problem'z.. And get chow'd befor they grow to any real size...

Iv seen pics of wild albino raggys from aus. There are so few left that they are in-breeding. Think the estimation was 500 left in the whole of Australia

As far as I know, Albanism in fish in the wild is very rare cause they stick out like sore thumbs and get chowed.. But you can get them in petshops all over.. lot of chichlids and other tropicals.. but in the wild I have never heard of or seen a true albino.. Except for some cave dwelling fish that never see the light of day.. they have become albinos..

hi rob

 i heard than u fish with the assassin beach master 14ft6 with ur grinder . how is this rod peformance . and what is the heaviest sinker that it can throw . i am aware that this rod has just one tip . im just confused on which rod to buy for my grinder . i dont knw whethr to buy this rod or the assassin beachmaster medium with two tips. can u give me ur personal opinion .

this rod is defnitely not a albino rod , or nevermind its not a scarce rod
Good for sliding
Not good for casting
Can only cast double x-high viz,,,,, oops back to the topic
Who's the ALBINO?
