Hey Wayne, that looks like a juvenile blue shark to me!

Gotta agree with the Weedman here.... Def not a thresher... believe me you would be on your ass if a Thresher hit you in the pip... Threshers have a tail at least 3/4 times the length of their bodies... its long and whippy....They also have very short snouts, whereas this shark looks to have a pretty long snout, much like a blue shark...I'd call that a blue too.

Lekker catches though mate, keep it up!

Hi Wayne,

Can you post the pic of the lure , i am eager  to see it !!!!!:shock::shock::shock:

Okay,

Heres the pic of the lure...

This is made out of a broom stick.

1: Cut broom stick to length you need

2: Drill hole in middle with a 4.5 or 5mm drill bit

3: Clean welding rod of all flux and push through broom stick

4: Before bending it,place swivel and bend around wire and do the same with the hook on other side.

5: Attach this to your line cast out and see if it works.

6: I,m going to make some to see if they will work for elf and so on.

Tight lines guys and gals.

PINOCCHIO WOULD BE PROUD

Hey,Mic,
The doc on board a rig is not the same as you have onshore and so,here they have to alocate beds,do training when new guys come onboard, and a hole lot of other stuff, but if you wanna find out if you can get on to a rig pm me your contact details and i,ll give yousome more info.
