Without doubt, the Onde Onda, but when the Shad are thick, then the silver s bend.

Ya they great bud... only flippin expensive... about R90 a pop.  Thats why I say, if the Shad are thick, then I scale down to a cheaper spoon.

Species - Only taken Shad, a couple of Wave Garrick and 1 Bigeye Kingie - all on dropshot tackle using the Onde Onda...

If u fish for shad on a daily basis for livies,ulle use the cheapest.

ONDA ONDE use to work magic on the SOUTH PIER for snoek and skippies.

When I used to belong to the Durban Paddle Ski Club, off Vetchies, would row out....have 5 casts each time on with a big shad, had my bag limit in no time at all.....lure of choice was a Rapala CD14 sinking blue mackeral....the best part is seeing a group of shad fighting each other off as they snap away at your Rapala!

Morning Reefman

National Ports comp 11-14 SEP 2007.HIBBERDENE TO ANERLY.

We had bad sea the whole weak,i managed to land a 11.5kg Hammer and a couple of smaller fish.With a bit of luck i got the heaviest bag and heaviest inedible.

A couple of nice bronzies was landed that took the edible prizes.

The comp was won by Saldanha(bunch of gully fisherman),2nd P.E. and the Durban boys was in 3rd.
