what species of moray?

what species of moray eel is this? it was 92cm and tried its best to eat me.....

Difficult to see in the pic...

If its mouth was yellow on the inside then it's probably a Starry Moray [Gymnothorax Nudivomer]

we have caught a few of these when night fishing on the kzn north coast. are they the common species here? it chowed a whole sard with a big chokka skirt.

If it's indeed a Starry Moray, then from what I read it is a pretty common species around KZN.
