looks like a big lesser hey deisel.... SA record lesser is over 30kg... there are probably more than one species labeled as lesser, as the ones in the cape look different to the ones in Natal

Weighed it in a sling hey. I dont I was alone on the brickm got 4 fish 2 tiny grey a hound and this guy. Bassil manning say its a grey spot for sure. Apparently male and female differ

Apparently according to an expert its definitely a lesser but a species of lesser seldon caught of the bricks and which is normally found in 100m depths.
