Went klopping from the bank on Saturday morning,Bubbles everywhere,but alas, no takers after several approaches .Eventually chucked a very seldomly used no 4 spinner about 15 meters out and to my surprise I got this litle bugger.Now seeing as it is Monday evening ,and nobody has touched the barbel-forums,I feel obliged to post a pic of the litle mongrel.

Well I got picked up on a gheilie rig on 5lb line by a rat and I had two chances of getting him out that structure.

The second one I was calling for about 25mins softly and got slammed by a mother - he pulled me and the boat under the apies doring before pulling a long line release - eina

I had a pick up on Saturday but it was probably a small one cos on the 3rd run I stuck and pulled the bait lean out of its mouth. Nothing else to shout about.

Went to try for Carp on Friday after the rain during the week, the water was green, only managed to catch 3 babers on caramel mielie pits
