What Bait to use at Roodekopjes

i just joined and for the first time going to Roodekopjes this comong weekend.

Could some one help me as a beginner ,what tipe of bait do i use, do i take lines in deep or do i just cast from side

may i use use a electrical rubberduc to drop lines

there are good carp there so some carp leadheads on a long dipping rod, as well as some nice barbel around so some barbel leadheads on a long barbel calling rod will do the trick too
