What are the best spots to fish in Margate?

Hi

I will be going to Margate in July from 09th and would appreciate any advise as to where is the good fishing spots for shad. I will be staying @ chalets called: Silhouette.

Have fished margate once only on the rocks to the right of the pier. Saw shad, garrick and gulley fish being caught there but becareful of big waves, best fished when water is calm. Hope that helps.

Fishing on the boat boet far beats the bricks
but i think you are in for a treat the sards are knokking at the door and the shad are wild a little on the mall side but correct for a live bait a good place to check out is orange rock theres been plenty action there i have the superette in st mikes we sell bait and tackle as well just up the road from orange. i also do deep sea fishing trips
