Went to Boschkop the past weekend with family and friends.

We hired chalet number 3 and I must say I expected it to be basic, but I was pleasently suprised to see that it cartered for all our needs.

I bought myself 2 new Shimano's XTRB 10000 and was very eager to get to the water.

Sat we sat about 1km from the ablution block to the right. the fishing was good and even my son (5yrs old) got into the small carp  no further than 30mtr. Sunday we sat even further to the right, it was very rocky but still good enough to fish.

I dont have the photos yet, but will post it as soon as I receive it.

We caught fish from 30 to 110mtr.

Baits used was yellow floats, swd and then: Brilliant Banana/WigWam, JMX/Joker, Dominator/Guru, Hot honey/Guru, UK Special/Fireworks.

I'm glad you listned and went the quality route. Got 27 fish 52kg at our trials on Saturday - same reels with my new Oval DC's

Not one fish dropped and I fished 0.20mm hooklines and 0.8 Ryochis's

Im stoked with the new reels. Where did you fish Enigma? Is that line 5b line, sorry dont know the diameter's yet?
