Well after the Off the Shelf vs Custom. I was requested to drop one of the 13' 10oz rods off at the distributor and when i got there it was duly replaced and for my trouble we got a 14' 7-9oz but will easily do 10oz+

So having 4 x 13' heavy rods i asked to swop out the 13' for a 14' and they agreed

Then to add to the excitement a Test model Banax Legend 50 was provided to give a good testing down in the SC and EC

Gonna have a good time.

Reel's solid and Aero alu, Stainless and Brass construction.

Shu Craig looks like you are rigged for bear, the reel looks awesome, test it out on a zambie for me, only fish missing from your last pe trip. Ballpark figure on the price. PS rod is awesome you built for me. We chartered a boat in struis specifically for redstumps but the wind kept us on shore. Hold thumbs for this weekend, 12 mile bank for some big tail, maybe a black poensie or red steamer if they are on the chew. Give you a call soon.

Looks like they going to get bulk deal prices so possibly under R2200, all Aero alu, brass and stailess with high grade jap bearings and is super smooth

Owen Richter and the Sensation team hammered the reel at Mazeppa and got some nice fish on it but with the Talica on hand I think visitors are going to test this one more than I will.

i remember ''old salt" first coming onto sealine and stating that he sold all his shimano and daiwa reels and replaced them with these banax reels, we all had a great laugh about that cause he was asked to test the reel which i found out from the owner of "sensation" his bould statements ddnt really do any good for the product, never heard much about the reels ever since, and that was about 3 years ago.

sorry, but sensation has been dishing this reel to everyone to try out over the years  yet it still hasnt taken off in SA.

personally, i am hoping that you can make us change our minds cause thus far they havent been a winner.

Price point was wrong initially

Functional upgrades to this reel and has been on test as you say with a number

Won't sommer just up and sell my Saltists and Trini's

If theu get price point right then it will sell construction is good and smoothdrag included.

Originally they were priced on a Par with the gold Trini but with big buying comes big discount.

I'll make my comment on price vs perfomanmce and quality once it's done some serious fishing and swimming

Size Physically bit between Torium 30 and Saltist but deeper spool with squarer bottom so holds a bit more line.

Reel is solid with all Alu/Bronze and Stainless gears/shafts.

This reel is the same as the Gold one they're just looking to get the silver anodising right as it scratches and shows it's scratches less than the Gold does.

Don' t worry I aldo skip a few copies. Stywe lyne hasn't impressed me lately. The only article worth reading is craigs one on the legend.

As Far As I am concenred This Reel is formidable in it's price class .
One Need not only just Take Enigma's Advice( or Mine for that Matter) about The Reel and buy it , One Need simply to head down to a stockist , and go give The handle a Few whirls in the Shop .

I Managed to get Frikkie one Last year for an absolutely BONKERS price , and That sale set The ball Officially rolling at Dealers for a downward trend in price scale on this Reel .

Banax and Daiwa (sorry gents , it's true ) used to share the same factory , with Banax Making reels for Many top Brand Names .

I have not had The pleasure of Reading up n the review so if any of our gifted younger members have the stywe lyne- 'love to Read it .
