Weekend in Potchefstroom

I'm going to spend this weekend in Potch, kids are enrolling at University, wife is involved with all the activities (yawn) and I definately dont want to sit in the B&B or the pub all day. Can someone please tell me where the fishing venues are in the area. Tx

There is Potch dam and Boskop dam, and then theres the vaal river as well
