Waterkloof Quarry

Hi all,

I saw a thread that was quite active a few years ago but has died down so I wanted to start a new one.

Has anyone fished at the Waterkloof Quarry before? Any advice on safety, entrance fees or what works where? Would be great to go fishing with someone who has been there before!

Fishing has died down a lot “poaching”

Don’t go unless you are a group of more than 3 and you are carrying a gun lots of unwanted people living next to the dam in the bushes.
I personally wont fish there again as it is nerve wrecking watching over your shoulder the whole time. Last time half a brick missed my head by inches

thank you for the update. Man that sucks... why are there so many squatters on the property? I thought it was fenced off?
I would like to fish that place with a float tube far away from flying bricks

If you can call that a fence its only chest high.
Just be safe lots and lots of criminals there

I've been reading up a bit and apparently there is a bass venue close to Nigel called "exclusive bass venue". Has anyone geard of that place before?
