Water temp for normal fishing

Hi...We tried our local dams(pta east) this weekend but without any luck. During the summer no prob.
Is the water still to cold or is it because the bass are spawning?

Hi the main problem is the water temperature.its best to wait a couple of weeks for the water to heat up.summer is just around the corner. Hope this helps....

Yip, don't know where you were fishing but guys have been getting up to 30 bass a day at the Vlei and I already know of 15+ fish over 3kg and 2 over 4kg

Roodeplaat has also been giving good bass and Bronkies has been fishing very, VERY well

Renosterkop been slower but some really big fish been taken by shore anglers with a 5.2kg caught and released.

We fished our local dams here at Silver lakes. Yes we saw plenty fish coming out at the vlei yesterday. Didnt take the bass rod
