HI Viv1,
It was difficult we sat in a spot where the river was very deep and I do not think It helped. We only went for the morning and I caught a nice 4kg carp on almond mielie.
But is was very windy and not a lot of fish came out. Think it will be much better this weekend.
Please give us feedback when you are back from your trip.

I want to ask something regarding the water level of a dam.
Lets take the vaal dam for instance. When the water level is down a lot, lets say about 60% capacity do you struggle to catch fish or do you catch more due to the water space that is much less like when the dam is 90% full.
Basically I just want to know do you still catch efficiently when the water level is down a lot and what happens if the dam level is full?
Is there anybody who will be able to assist? Hope you understand what I am trying to say
