Good day fellow Sealiners
Hope you all had a blessed festive season and an excellent New Year so far.
I am in the market for a boat. I am mainly going to use it in the Breede River and Langebaan. I am looking for a 14ft or 15ft African Skiff single motor installation.
If anyone has one for sale or knows of anyone that want's to sell please give me a shout.

Jean at Bay Boats is producing the Island and Bay Runners again. But I have seen the odd one crop up on Gumtree occasionally.

An alternative is the Fusion 15 or else the Bonefish... both outstanding hulls.

If interested, my boat is for sale. tiller arm layout tho, very stable hull design, excellent boat for the breede, same hull the lodge uses, they have 2. 4 stroke Honda motor has less than 100 hrs on.

You may also want to look at the Ski Vee range(14'6 or 16'), excellent boats for your application and not expensive. Always some for sale second hand.

Yes, I see them advertised much more than the Skiff's. Had a look at some of them before, but they are to shallow inside at the stern for my liking. The Skiff range are much deeper in the stern.

True they are a bit low in the tern but great boats.
I have also been looking at the Ocean Runner 17 or Pro Fish 18'6 with higher gunnels as a up-grade but am having a hard time finding the builder on web.

I believe the Ocean Runner 17 mould is now in Namibia and the original owner Jean(?) has developed the new 18'6 Pro Fish. Still researching and will let ya know if I find something. Cheers.

As far as I know Jean bought back some of the moulds he originally sold to guys in Namibia.

Too small and not suitable for my application. I have a Ski Vee 500, looking to Up-grade perhaps. Higher gunnels and more deck space as well as surf launching capabilities KZN South Coast.

Nice little boat though may be perfect for estuary and river fishing.

I am looking for a mono hull Skiff or similar, not familiar with those tri hulls. Will agree that they should be super stable on rivers and estuaries.
