Hi there.
The Crucial in discussion is the old spec nl. IM 9 graphite composite, the 7'11 model.
They no longer available in tackleshops, as it's the newer IM 10 composite now, & it would seem as if owners are realy holding on to their older model for the very reason I was looking for one.
The lure weight on the 7'11 is 1/4 - 1/2oz (7-14g) & is a Medium Heavy Fast action rod, rated for 10-25lb mono & 20-50lb braid.
I must be honest about the braid rating, not to sure if it is correct, but as its printed.
Its actually a baitcasting rod, but I had it converted to a spinning rod.
Must honestly say, what a fine job done by "Tackleholic" & the rod came out absolutely fantastic.
A new set of K guide series was added, new reel seat with new cork.
The thing with Tackleholic is, its not just a mere guide & reel-seat change & give it its clear coat, no no no.....he will ensure that the rod has sufficient guides placed 100% correctly to give you the ultimate quality of line feed during the cast, choke & with a smooth feed thru the guides.
There is quite a bit of testing involved from his side to give you the ultimate rod back.
His work is fantastic & worth each cent !
