You don't get heavy duty jigging rods cheap what reel you putting on ? best value would be a trevella XH but it depends on you application .

Are you fishing bait as opposed to jigs ?
For bait you can use any tuna spin type rod like a shimano beastmaster 6'6 15kg class will be fine if you want to jig then a dedicated jigging type blank is best look at a trevella XH. What species you targeting ?

I use a cheapo elbe titan jig, the heavier one, for that application and it works lekker for me..Think it is 40-60lb, the rod isn't with me at the moment. Chopped the butt a bit shorter and rigged for the multiplier and got it bloodied the first outing in the new configuration with a 9kg fish and very happy. Mates use the beastmaster 5'6" or 6' Jigging MH for the same application, the older one, not sure about the new yellow one.
If you find where you get those rods (elbe titan jig) let me know, I wouldn't mind a backup and haven't seen them again since I got mine on an impulse buy. Very decent cheapy, fuji guides, good backbone/nice blank..

Got an original Poseidon Offshore (Blue handle) that I don't use anymore. It's in perfect nick. Prepared to let it go for a grand. I fact I have 2. A 6' and a 7'.
Thanks to everyone who replied. I got myself a gosa 10 000 and the my local store has a trevala m/h 6,6" 2piece for R1000 and a poseidon offshore 6" 200-400g for R850 and I can get a secondhand trevala xxh 5,8" for R1000 which one would you guys recommend for bottom fishing and the occasional yellowtail? Thank a lot!

trevala xxh 5,8" hands down the better option , a beast of a rod pity you don't get them in the overhead version

other really good rod to look at is the SHIMANO TLD70H - old blue bindings if you can get one second hand its a beast .

Sorry, yesterday got a little shorter than most days... Here they are, both rods in pretty much unfished and showroom condition. Fuji components throughout. Reason for selling is that I simply have too many rods.
