Want to rent a boat December 2012

I will be on holiday in Mossel Bay during late Dec'12/early Jan'13 and would like to rent a boat (on registered trailer) with an outboard motor of not more than 15hp. I do not have a Skippers licence, but have many year's of boating experience ( just don't get time to do the licence), hence the 15hp requirement.

I want to fish Gouritz, Klein Brak, Knysna, Breede, etc rivers and estuaries. I have my own towing vehicle (Isuzu DC) and fishing tackle....just need a boat.

Anyone willing to rent me a boat? Maybe you are selling your's, I am willing to rent it for a reasonable price (not worth buying because I work abroad).

Why don't you post in the Lounge section as well, someone might be able to take you along, without you having to rent a boat. So you work here in South America, quite a few Saffas working around here, my guess would be 500 plus just in the Marine Industry here in Brasil. I have met Saffas in Chile, Argentina, Paraguay to name but a few places here.

I am quite sure someone will take you out, if you post in the Lounge section as it will get more "exposure"

Thanks Serra, but I specifically want to go on my own. Have the kids and some friends over in December. Will post in the Lounge as well.

I'm in Colombia (since Jun2011) and loving it. Great people...learning Spanish along the way. I'm in mining. We are 6 families here in Barranquilla working for the same company.

Ah ok, understood - like a family outing, did you get any replies yet?

The Saffas I met that's working in Chile are into mining as well.
