Hey StinkMossel. Small cob and shad were coming out yesterday at Arendse, Paletjies and Beespens (I missed Broken Road for some unknown reason).Mostly undersized, only a few were caught at these spots when I was there.Water was warmer than last week...

O ya...2 very small, what looked like bronzies were landed at Beespens...not sure if it was bronzies because the bronze colour wasn't as deep as a larger one...can anyone confirm?

Friday 19:00pm would be 2 hours after hightide, so the best place to try for cob would be either Harbour island in G-Bay or between the pavillion & melkbaai in the Strand...

I've been fishing there all week & i must say that the water is dead. The odd undersized fish are coming out... Nothing worth while, but you never know. There might be a lost cobbie out there...
