How the feed is made isn't really the reason that the bol is cast of.  It's in 90% of the cases how the bol is put on the bait carrier (spring or weight)

Naruto your father probably catches less not because he casts the bol of but because in casting off he doesn't gain a rhythm in casting and spreads the baits cast of around as well as those not cast of as well.  If his bolle are being cast off because they are not put on properly then the bol will also spiral and fly in an angular direction if not on properly.

This all results in an innacurate feeding area that doesn't concentrate the fish and cause competition for food.

 

 

What I have picked up from what he does wrong are the following:
1. His water to feed ratio is not always right. The feed is too wet most of the time.
2. His casting action is sometime jerky and not always accurate. The jerkyness can cause the soft feed to be cast off more easily.
3. And all this causes him too loose time and then he gets over eager. His haste causes him to consentrate even less on putting on his bom properly and the whole cycles gets repeated.

Worst of all is that On the days his feed is good, he can outfish most guys in the club.

We're all typical SA men.

Always time to do it right the 2nd time. When you see or feel the bol is not right take it off, reload and then when happy cast.

If at first he's not happy he's going to be hesitant in casting
He thinks it will come off so won't put full power into the cast
If it comes off theres a good chance he could cast the wole rig off costing more time
If it doesn't cast of then the bol will spin and tumble in the air leading to loss of distance and inaacurate bait delivery potentialy laying for and hour without a bite.

Rather take 2 minutes to get it right and re-cast. Get it on the spot and catch a fish, loosing only 2 minutes of fishing time and not an hour.

I will try to get him there. Just don't mention any of what I said! lol! I have tried steering him in the right direction, but men can be very stubborn sometimes. But if a pro shows him, he will definitely listen.

Hi Manne ek moet se nadat almal vir my gese het hoe om my bom te maak 9(2 dele bom 1 deel water) dit by itself werk soos n bom. nou kan met n bietjie meer gemoedsrus cast en bietjie verder ook.net my 1c

Nog nooit probeer nie maar wat ek sal aanbeveel indien jy dit wil gebruik wees maar vesigtig, die saatjie skei n baie skerp reuk af en as jy te veel in jou voer gaan gebruik kan jy dalk net die vis afskrik.

I also like to use the plain Supercast Superfeed. It just binds better than some of the other products I've used before.

Definitely like to add a small heap of custard powder if things get a bit flat. Has helped me out a few times.

Hi Kassie, I also add some custard powder to my feed, or honey, or Molasse or Cooked Chick-Chick. Depends on what is working the day.

I recently started adding some vanilla to my bom. I have had mixed results, but will experiment at bigger venues like Vaaldam.

The fish size has increased , but the amount of fish came down.

Good for social fishing, but not for comps !lol!

Die reen het almal rond gefoeter. Laaste by vaaldam het ek darem meer as 10 gevang.

Die beste voer wat ek ooit gubruik het is heelpit mielies (vir hoenders ) geweek vir 24 uur kook dan tot sag . Dan maal jy hulle ekt nog een van daai ou meultjies wat met die hand gedraai word jys op na so 5kg
