Vis Pappa!!!

Dag manne,

Ek's die naweek my seun (2.5jaar) uitgevat om sy eerste vis te gaan vang.

Die perfekte plek was natuurlik Vasfontein.

Ons het daar eengekom, gou sy R30 setup reggekry, hoek aangesit, wurm aangesit en daar gaat ons.

Ek het die lyn ingegooi vir hom en minder as 'n minuut later sien ek die dobbertjie gaan mal op die water, "pluk hom seun" Fish ON!

Mooi man! My seun (3jaar oud) het sy eerste vis in Desember gevang. Dit is 'n hengse lekker gevoel. Hou so aan!! Al wat ek vir jou seun kan sê is:

I know that feeling, my twins are fishing nuts their younger brother same age as your boy is even worse.

I think its vital for us to teach the next generation the art of fishing.

My son is currently a handfull bit he is learning fast, at least he is not asking for Abu's and Crucials to fish with yet so I'll bear with it for now.

I am also very glad that there is a place like Vasfontein to take him to. As everyone with a Kid know, they are impatient and wants to catch a fish everytime the lure touches the water.

Maar dit is al die raas en dreig die moeitewerd as hy uiteindelik 'n vis hook, daai gesiggie se dit als!

Jaaa, ek is noggal baie gelukkig, My seun kan al amper visvang en sy sussie kom die 1ste Maart, nog 'n angling member oppad binnekort. My fishing gaan so bietjie stil weer in Maart maand maar sodra mamma weer op en top is gaan ek visvang laat die byle huil.

I don't have kids so I don't get the VIS PAPPA, however i've gotten the odd "Vis OOM" and if it's anything like your own kid to se their faces then it's worth the effort...... Congrats on ensuring another fishing addict, now if he's getting fish that size at 2 1/2 what's he gonna get in a couple of years?
