Hi guys

I don't fish the vaal dam often but going over Easter and heard the dam is very full. Any ideas on how this will affect the fishing will be appreciated also any tips on bait would help going to target barbel and carp

Fish are biting all over the dam and better than they were before the dam filled up.

The dam has over 450km of shoreline so you need to be a bit more specific about where you are going to be fishing

I'm going to be at oranjeVille a little ways down from the bridge entering oranjeville but great news that's it's fishing good!

Oranjeville is fishing well and the venue is clean of instructions so there are not many snags and fishing is a pleasure.
